Public Housing in Sydney’s Inner South

Architect, urban designer and historian Michael Zanardo (Studio Zanardo) will lead a walking tour that will take in several prominent public housing estates and several smaller infill projects. The tour will focus on the dwelling types included in these projects, the approaches to planning and urban design across several phases of development, and the social and political questions prompted by large scale redevelopment proposals at Waterloo and elsewhere.

Building the CBD: Finance, Insurance, Real Estate (FIRE)

Join architectural historian Maren Koehler (USyd) and heritage specialist Matthew Devine (City of Sydney and USyd)  for this walking tour of central Sydney. The tour will focus on a range of tall commercial buildings that were constructed to serve the rapidly expanding financial sector across the twentieth century.
