The State Library of Western Australia and the State Records Office present an exhibition showcasing records held by both organisations relating to town and urban planning and architecture, in support of the 11th Australasian Urban History/Planning History Conference, to be held in Perth from 5-8 February 2012. The exhibition features real estate posters from the past; architectural drawings ranging from simple worker’s cottages to opulent houses, clubs and institutions; photographs of Perth buildings; and records of the Town Planning Department and the Workers Homes Board.
